اولا من ناحيه الاسم فهى تسمىflange brace or knee bracing ثانيا من ناحيه المكان - اتصال العمود بال girt - اتصال rafter بال purlinثالثا من ناحيه الوظيفه - تقلل unsupported length لل rafter , وبالنسبه للعمود على حسب المصمم نفسه .رابعا من ناحيه الانواع - single flange brace -double flange brace

بخصوصFly Brace= Flange Bracing فمن خلال اسمها يتضح ان الهدف منها تدعيم المدادات runners= Purlins لسقف الفريمات Rigid Frames او المدادات الافقية للواجهات وذلك لزيادة قدرة تحمل المدادات وتقليل الطول لها ,وكذلك تفيد في تقوية rafter ضد التحنيب او الفتل Buckling or Twistingنتيجة الاحمال الجانبية
consists of structural angles connected between the rafters and purlins to prevent the rafters rolling from side to side under a load. Diaphragm bracing is created by the wall and roof paneling. When attached to the frame, the panels act like a membrane or "diaphragm" stretched over the building, pulling it together.

• A brace from the bottom flange of a rafter to the roof purlin that restrains the rafter laterally. A steel angle, approx 50x50x5mm, is commonly used in this application.

Flange Braces are 4 or 5 mm thick angle sections used to prevent rigid frame members from twisting or buckling laterally under load. They are used on one side or both sides of the rafters/ columns depending on the magnitude of the required restraning loads.
